On October 27, 2024, HNP Ontario hosted its bi-annual community clean-up at Teramoto Park in Brampton, where over 120 dedicated volunteers came together to collect 115 pounds of litter. In recognition of these efforts, HNP Ontario received a Certificate of Recognition from the Brampton City Council. A huge thank you to all the participants, organizers, and the Brampton City Council for their support. Stay tuned for more potential collaborations in the future!

The Ignite Fair is an annual volunteer fair that helps students in the GTA discover volunteer opportunities. This event connects youth with non-profit organizations offering both in-person and virtual volunteering roles. HNP Ontario was thrilled to participate, hosting a table where we shared information about our mission, in-person and virtual events, and the many volunteer opportunities available. Thank you to everyone who visited us!

The Ravine Festival is an annual city-wide celebration of Toronto's ravine system, offering a variety of activities for people to enjoy. Participants receive a nature passport, which they can fill with stamps from each activity station, creating a fun scavenger hunt experience. On October 5th, HNP Ontario took part in the Ravine Festival by hosting a leaf and bark rubbing booth. Our booth was one of the stops in the scavenger hunt, where participants could complete their nature passport while exploring the beauty of Toronto's ravines. Thank you to everyone who stopped by!

On September 17th, HNP Ontario participated in the volunteer fair at the University of Toronto's St. George Campus. Many people stopped by and talked to us about our organization and volunteer opportunities! A big thank you to everyone who attended!
